Job summary

Community Council Learning Academy in Philadelphia, PA seeks a School Climate Manager to oversee the after-school enrichment program across District of Philadelphia sites. You will ensure program fidelity, supervise OST staff, maintain documentation, and coordinate with schools, families, and community partners.

Responsibilities include staff training, action and treatment plan support as required, and timely reporting per OST and district standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree includes 30 credits in early childhood education, child development, or related field, plus 1 year of experience working with children.
  • Associate’s degree in one of the above fields plus 2 years of experience with children.

  • Ensure coaching, corrective action, and documentation are completed to address challenges.

  • Support the delivery of action plans and treatment plans as required.
  • Maintain accurate program records and prepare Cityspan and other required reports.
  • Ensure documentation is completed according to OST timelines and standards.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with school administrators, families, and stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with students, families, staff, and school personnel.
  • Represent the program positively during meetings, presentations, and site visits.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Comply with Community Council policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education

Bachelor’s degree with 30 credits in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services
Associate’s degree in one of the above fields plus 2 years of experience with children

General Overview

The Group Supervisor oversees daily operations of the after‑school enrichment program at assigned School District of Philadelphia locations. The role ensures high‑quality program implementation, supervision of OST staff, compliance with OST and School District guidelines, and effective coordination of program activities, documentation, and student engagement.
