Job summary

Jay Peak Resort is seeking a Day Group Sales Representative to coordinate all aspects of group sales, from skiing and snowboarding packages to events. You will work with clients and internal stakeholders to plan and execute day group experiences.

Base wage starts at $17.00–$20.00 per hour plus commission, with paid vacation and other benefits. This role offers opportunities to grow within a resort community and requires strong communication and regional sales drive.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel/resort group sales is helpful.
• Strong communication and client coordination skills.
• Ability to work with internal stakeholders to plan events.

Responsibilities

• Booking regional direct day group business.
• Ticketing of all Day Groups, utilizing ticketing software.
• Communicates directly with all day groups, up-selling all potential sales opportunities.
• Attends regional off-site sales efforts for Jay Peak Resort.
• Promotes smooth implementation of any Day Group needs.
• Daily and weekly use of the Day Group forecasting templates.
• Sales of all products offered, across the resort.
• Communicates with internal stakeholders for group needs and plans.
• Develops new regional business contacts for day group, off-site, college and water park sales efforts.
• Answers phone calls to the general sales line on a daily basis.
• Daily retrieval emails from the general group email account.
• Participates in weekly team meetings.
• Works closely with Senior Sales Manager and DOS to produce bi-weekly sales reports.
• Works with SSM and DOS for complete end of season and annual reporting.
