Job summary

Hospitality Ventures Management Group seeks a driven Sales Manager for The Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta as it transitions to Hyatt Regency. You will generate new group and business travel opportunities through proactive prospecting, relationship development, outside sales, and strategic account management.

You’ll manage the sales process from initial contact to contract, partnering with operations and events teams to deliver outstanding experiences.

Qualifications

• A college degree or hotel experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar or related position is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, meeting planners, third parties, and partners to generate hotel revenue.
• Proactively prospect for new business through outside sales calls, networking, events, referrals, and targeted campaigns.
• Develop business within market segments to drive group rooms, meeting space, and overall revenue.
• Respond to RFPs with proposals that position the hotel and evolving product effectively.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to turnover to operations.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and convert new customers into long-term partners.
• Communicate client expectations and contract details to hotel operations and events teams.
• Maintain accurate activity, forecasts, and opportunities in the sales system.
