Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Sales Manager for Boston Marriott Newton. The role focuses on proactively soliciting and managing group business while upselling to maximize revenue in targeted markets.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in hospitality management, marketing, business or related field.
• One or more years of sales-related experience.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices and Marriott Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make personal visits to target areas and call on companies and associations.
• Book meetings, conferences, and social guests from assigned areas.
• Direct telephone sales and maintain old account files while soliciting new accounts.
• Set up site inspections and accompany customers to exhibitions and meetings.
• Maintain relationships with corporate meeting planners and hotel industry associations.
• Meet sales goals as outlined by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
