Job summary

Roberts Resorts & Communities seeks a Group Sales & Event Manager for Village Camp Flagstaff in the US. You will drive group revenue through weddings, corporate retreats, and other events, acting as liaison between clients and on-site operations to ensure an EPIC guest experience.

This role is proactive sales-focused, collaborating with the operations team to detail, price, and execute contracts while building long-term client relationships in the Flagstaff region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in hotel, resort, hospitality, catering, event, or group sales.
• Proven ability to prospect, close sales, and manage multiple groups.

Responsibilities

• Proactively solicit, develop, and close new group business to meet revenue goals.
• Conduct weekly outside sales calls and prospecting to build relationships with local businesses and event professionals.
• Attend Chamber of Commerce meetings, networking events, and trade shows to generate new business.
• Respond to new group leads within 24 hours and maintain professional follow-up throughout the process.
• Conduct property tours, presentations, and sales appointments showcasing Village Camp experience.
• Partner with GM and Revenue Management to set competitive, profitable group pricing.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline from inquiry to contracting and billing.
• Resolicit past groups for repeat business and new opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue through accommodations, F&B, event space, and services.
