Job summary

CA Global seeks a Group Mining & Exploration Manager to lead copper and gold exploration, mine development, and open-pit mining operations. The role emphasizes disciplined advancement across projects, high-quality ore feed, and strong technical judgment in fast-paced environments.

The incumbent will drive exploration programs, oversee design and scheduling, and ensure governance, reporting, and team performance across multiple licenses.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng/MSc in Mining Engineering and geology exploration qualification.
• 10–20 years in Mining Engineering and 15 years in Exploration and Geology.
• Led multidisciplinary teams of 20–60+ people in frontier jurisdictions.
• Experience in field camps and multi-pit coordination with fast-paced data.
• Strong communication, decisiveness, and leadership under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead exploration programs across 10-12 licenses including budgets and drilling.
• Oversee open-pit mine design, scheduling, and pit optimisation.
• Coordinate interface between Exploration, Geology, Mining and Processing.
• Lead weekly reviews and enforce drill-readiness gates.
• Develop team and maintain performance-driven culture.
