Job summary

Turner Mining Group seeks an experienced Exploration Manager to lead Nevada-based exploration for a large-scale gold-silver operation. The role oversees near-mine and regional programs, target generation, project development, and a high-performing technical team focused on resource growth.

Nevada-based candidates are preferred, but U.S. applicants nationwide will be considered. Remote site experience and ability to work in remote mining environments are required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of exploration experience in Carlin-type, epithermal gold-silver, and similar deposits.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in exploration management within the mining industry.
• Experience with near-mine and regional exploration programs and both surface/underground projects.
• Strong QA/QC principles, data evaluation, and ability to oversee QA/QC across exploration activities.

Responsibilities

• Assess exploration potential, define targets, and manage exploration programs.
• Lead target generation, assessment, and project pipeline management.
• Design and prioritize exploration targets at various development stages.
• Contribute to drill planning for resource discovery and program optimization.
• Coordinate geological, geochemical, geophysical, and drilling activities.
• Ensure exploration data supports interpretation and decision-making.
• Mentor and develop the exploration team.
• Perform geological and structural modeling as required.
