The Oregon Youth Challenge Program, operated by the State of Oregon Military Department, seeks a Group Life Coordinator 2 to oversee youth care, safety and program delivery at Bend, Oregon. You will supervise cadets, lead fitness and life-skill instruction, and collaborate with staff to maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, physical conditioning, and rapport-building with youth, staff, and communities, in a demanding residential setting.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED or higher.

Responsabilités

• Care, control, safety and security of youth in a 24/7 facility.
• Supervise cadets with emphasis on safety, personal growth, teamwork and core components.
• Monitor behavior during daily activities, meals, and extracurriculars.
• Assist youth in developing life skills and meeting goals.
• Lead daily physical fitness activities and cadet cadence calls.
• Provide classroom instruction on program standards and character development.
