Oregon Department of Human Services at Eastern Oregon Youth Correctional Facility in Burns, Oregon seeks a Group Life Coordinator 2 to supervise and support youth in a correctional setting. You will coach behavior, document performance, and coordinate group activities while ensuring safety and well-being.

Responsibilities include observing youth, filing incident reports, assigning tasks, and assisting with medication under medical staff oversight, with transport duties as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or higher is required.
• Certificate or Associate degree in behavioral science, education, criminal justice, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Coaching, confronting, and correcting youth behavior as necessary.
• Observing, evaluating, and recording youth behavior and attendance in programs.
• Preparing Youth Incident Reports (YIRs) and documenting incidents.
• Assigning, training, and supervising youth on various chores and jobs.
• Supervising youth in community-based work crew activities when appropriate.
• Monitoring health and safety risks, including suicide prevention.
• Conducting security inspections and searches of the facility and vehicles.
• Administering medication to youth under indirect supervision of medical staff.
• Providing secure transport of youth to appointments as needed.
