Job summary

Grifols in California seeks a Group Leader - Material Handler to support warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and material issuance within a GMP environment. You will perform chemical dispensing, cycle counts and data entry while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and forklift operation, with weekend rotations possible. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in production inventory control, familiarity with MRP systems, and a high school diploma or

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• APICs courses or certification desirable.
• 1-2 years experience in a production inventory control environment with MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Shipping, receiving and stocking duties including loading/unloading, sorting, and data entry.
• Material transfer, stocking, issuing and internal delivery to staging/storage locations.
• Stocking, kitting, issuing, internal delivery to production lines or plant locations.
• Manufacturing staging: dispense chemicals per production orders; perform calculations and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Hazardous and bio-hazardous waste handling per EH&S policy.
• Inventory control: maintain accuracy, cycle counts and FIFO; resolve discrepancies.
• Equipment maintenance: assist calibration and maintenance per schedule.
• Housekeeping: maintain GMP-compliant, organized and sanitized warehousing areas.
• Address complaints and resolve employee-related problems with management.
• Makes decisions independently, within a defined area.
