Job summary

Grifols, S.A in Clayton, NC is seeking a warehouse associate for inbound/outbound logistics and material handling. Responsibilities include unloading freight, verifying counts, preparing receipts, labeling, and delivering inventory to production areas.

You will also manage outbound shipments, perform counts, and handle hazardous materials in a GMP environment. Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift experience with certification within 30 days, basic computer skills,

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of pharmaceutical, chemical, food handling/distribution and/or warehouse experience in a regulated industry within the last 5 years OR two years in a non-regulated warehouse environment.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, Business, Teaching or related field OR Bioworks Certification.
• Forklift experience preferred; must obtain forklift certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound freight and verify counts with accuracy.
• Prepare receiving records and deliver non-inventory items to departments; keep receipts.
• Label and deliver off-tested inventory to manufacturing per procedures; sanitize as required.
• Prepare outbound freight; complete packing, Bills of Lading and necessary paperwork.
• Load outbound freight; obtain carrier signatures and coordinate pickups.
• Move on-test finished goods to storage; report discrepancies and perform counts.
• Apply labels to US-labeled exports; pack export shipments with dry ice in a +5°C room.
• Maintain GMP-compliant housekeeping and safe work area; operate forklifts and power equipment.
• Use SAP and SAP Console for inventory functions.
• Familiar with hazardous materials procedures; maintain forklift batteries.
