Job summary

Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA is seeking a Group Leader Maintenance Mechanic to support the Facilities Maintenance team. This full-time, day-shift position reports to the Supervisor and involves organizing work, ensuring materials and tools are available, and performing maintenance tasks as needed.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, 3 years maintenance experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years job related experience including mechanical training and hands on experience in repair of stationary or mobile equipment.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must pass a written test and hands on skills demonstration with a minimum passing score of 75%.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor in daily operations of the Maintenance Mechanic shop.
• Organize and schedule work assignments.
• Assure materials, supplies and tools are available for completion of assigned tasks.
• Perform duties of Maintenance Mechanic as needed.
