Dr Reddy's is seeking a Group Lead Intellectual Property Counsel to design, direct, and execute IP strategies that protect and advance its mission of affordable, innovative healthcare.

The role oversees North America patent litigation across small and large molecules, and collaborates with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Portfolio, and external counsel to align IP with scientific and business priorities.

Formación

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in New Jersey or eligible for NJ in-house license.
• USPTO registration strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Science or Engineering; Chemistry/Biochemistry preferred.
• Advanced scientific degree (MS/PhD) highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute long‑term IP strategies to support business growth and risk mitigation.
• Manage NA patent litigation docket including ANDA/ANDS, 505(b)(2), biosimilars and other litigations.
• Guide development of legal claims, defenses, and litigation strategies with external counsel.
• Ensure freedom-to-operate for Dr. Reddy’s products across APIs and formulations.
• Supervise drafting, prosecution, and maintenance of patent applications with R&D and global teams.
• Lead IP due diligence for in-licensing and partnerships.
