Job summary

Dr Reddy's seeks a highly experienced Lead Intellectual Property Counsel for its North America business. You will jointly design and implement IP strategies, oversee patent litigations in the region, and ensure freedom to operate for Dr Reddy’s products across multiple regulatory environments.

As a senior attorney, you will collaborate with Portfolio, R&D, Business Development and Regulatory Affairs to guide lifecycle management from selection to launch, while mentoring teams and representing

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and NJ bar admission or eligible for NJ in-house license.
• At least 8+ years of patent litigation experience, including Hatch-Waxman matters.
• Strong leadership, independent work ethic, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage North America patent litigations including ANDA/ANDS, 505(b)(2) and biosimilar cases.
• Secure freedom-to-operate for products via Orange Book and unlisted patents.
• Prepare ANDA patents certifications and related notices; analyze prior art and litigation histories.
• Conduct IP due diligence and support business development; manage patent drafting and prosecution.
• Advise on pharmaceutical patent and regulatory law including exclusivity and launch scenarios.
