Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC in New Jersey seeks a Group Home Supervisor to oversee Direct Support Professionals, coordinate daily operations, staffing, and budgeting for assigned facilities. You will support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and respond to their needs with empathy and professionalism.

Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring DSPs, creating schedules, ensuring training compliance, and maintaining safe, clean homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred; NCI or MedTech certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of Direct Support employees and manages operations, staffing and budget of facilities assigned.
• Interviews and hires Direct Support Professionals; creates employee schedules ensuring adequate staffing at all times.
• Performs personal care duties as needed and monitors staff interactions with people supported across shifts to maintain harmony.
• Ensures people supported have a clean and maintained home and yard; provides after-hours and on-call coverage.
