Job summary

Cardinal Services, Inc. of Indiana is seeking a Residential Supervisor to oversee daily operations of a residential group home in Silver Lake, IN.

You will supervise DSPs, train staff, and ensure smooth scheduling while safeguarding the wellbeing of individuals with developmental disabilities. The role requires managing funds for individuals, documenting program plans, and maintaining health and safety standards, with a focus on building strong relationships with families and guardians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to transport individuals safely.
• Background check as part of employment process.
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise DSPs, including training and scheduling.
• Manage individuals' funds and ensure accurate accounting.
• Oversee and document each program plan for individuals.
• Monitor health and safety, ensure medical appointments and medications are handled correctly.
• Maintain positive relationships with families, guardians and staff.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and Cardinal Services policies.
• Create a supportive, enjoyable environment for individuals and staff.
• Demonstrate a commitment to positively impacting lives.
