Job summary

enCircle is seeking a House Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our residential group homes in Virginia. The role requires driving and involves coordinating medication reviews, staff scheduling, training DSP1s, and ensuring ISP protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a HS diploma or GED, or 6 months in human services.
• Pass paid training in CPR, First Aid and DSP orientation within 30 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Demonstrates compassionate, caring attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Residential program to ensure smooth operation of group homes.
• Participate in hiring DSP1s by attending candidate interviews.
• Provide orientation and training for new DSP1s and ensure ISP protocols are followed.
• Schedule DSPIs to cover shifts and provide coverage when needed.
• Ensure medications are available and dispensed correctly; inform Health Coordinator of changes.
• Coordinate medical and dental appointments and complete monthly MAR checks.
• Ensure adequate supplies and coordinate community outings and monthly activity calendars.
• Attend supervisor meetings, emergency drills, and on-call rotations.
• Provide transportation according to agency procedures and respond to emergencies.
