Job summary

Marrakech, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a residential group home. You’ll support daily living activities, accompany medical appointments, and follow individualized care plans to promote independence and personal choice.

We provide paid training; a valid Connecticut driver’s license is required. Certification in DDS Medication, CPR, and First Aid can be obtained after hire.

About the Role

You’ll help people live safe, fulfilling lives while building trusting relationships that encourage independence and personal choice.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with daily living skills such as personal care, meals, and routines


• Supporting medical needs and appointments


• Following individualized support and behavior plans


• Encouraging community involvement and social engagement


• Completing routine overnight safety checks (for overnight staff)


• Working collaboratively as part of a compassionate, supportive team

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking reliable, compassionate individuals who are motivated to make a difference.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED


• Valid Connecticut Driver’s License


• Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid

Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is helpful—but not required. We provide paid training to help you succeed.

Pay

• $19.28 per hour


• Additional $0.50 per hour with DDS Medication Certification


• Certification can be obtained after hire if not already certified
