Job summary

Marrakech, Inc. in Connecticut is seeking a Residential Program Counselor (DSP) to support individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a residential group home. You’ll help residents with daily living skills, meals, routines, and community involvement, while building trust and encouraging independence.

No prior experience is required and we provide paid training. The position pays $19.28 per hour, with an additional $0.50 per hour after DDS Medication Certification; Certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR and First Aid.
• Experience with disabilities is helpful but not required.

About the Role

You’ll help people live safe, fulfilling lives while building trusting relationships that encourage independence and personal choice.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with daily living skills such as personal care, meals, and routines
• Supporting medical needs and appointments
• Following individualized support and behavior plans
• Encouraging community involvement and social engagement
• Completing routine overnight safety checks (for overnight staff)
• Working collaboratively as part of a compassionate, supportive team

Requirements:

• Valid Connecticut Driver’s License

Pay

• $19.28 per hour
• Additional $0.50 per hour with DDS Medication Certification
• Certification can be obtained after hire if not already certified
