Job summary

LIFE, Inc. - Wilmington is hiring a Group Home Professional to provide essential support and care to clients in Supply, NC. This full-time role focuses on assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and maintaining a compassionate, respectful environment.

You will work second shift, earn $17.50 per hour paid bi-weekly, and benefit from medical insurance, PTO, retirement plan, and growth opportunities. A high school diploma or GED and a valid NC driver's license are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor clients while dressing, bathing, toileting, and in all other aspects of self-care.
• Assist and monitor clients during meals to ensure utilization of family style dining.
• Assist and monitor clients in all aspects of housekeeping responsibilities (clothing care, house cleaning, and yard care).
• Assist and monitor clients in preparing meals and nutritional supplements.
• Assist and monitor clients in the administration of prescribed medication without error.
• Assist and monitor clients in the implementation of prescribed diet orders and utilization of adaptive equipment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and follow all established behavior programs, data collection, and established safety procedures.
• Assist and monitor clients in appropriate active treatment including training objective plans, recording data, and implementing service goals.
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and communicate appropriate client information as directed by supervisory staff.
• Transport and monitor clients on company vehicles as directed.
• Assist and monitor clients during community outings.
• Assist and monitor clients during participation at school and day program activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
