Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NC Driver's License required.
• 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with dressing, bathing, toileting and other self-care tasks.
• Assist during meals and promote family-style dining.
• Support housekeeping tasks including clothing care, cleaning and yard work.
• Help prepare meals and provide nutritional supplements as directed.
• Assist with medication administration as prescribed, ensuring accuracy.
• Follow prescribed diet orders and use adaptive equipment as needed.
• Follow behavior programs, collect data, and maintain safety procedures.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and share client information as directed.
• Transport clients in company vehicles and accompany them on outings.
• Support clients during school/day program activities and community outings.

In this role, you will provide essential support and care to clients, assisting with daily activities, ensuring their well-being, and promoting independence in a compassionate and respectful environment. Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor clients while dressing, bathing, toileting, and in all other aspects of self-care.
• Assist and monitor clients during meals to ensure utilization of family style dining.
• Assist and monitor clients in all aspects of housekeeping responsibilities (clothing care, house cleaning, and yard care).
• Assist and monitor clients in preparing meals and nutritional supplements.
• Assist and monitor clients in the administration of prescribed medication without error.
• Assist and monitor clients in the implementation of prescribed diet orders and utilization of adaptive equipment.
• Implement and follow all established behavior programs, data collection, and established safety procedures.
• Assist and monitor clients in appropriate active treatment including training objective plans, recording data, and implementing service goals.
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and communicate appropriate client information as directed by supervisory staff.
• Transport and monitor clients on company vehicles as directed.
• Assist and monitor clients during community outings.
• Assist and monitor clients during participation at school and day program activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
