RHA Health Services is hiring a Group Home Supervisor to lead Direct Support staff, manage operations, staffing, and budgets for assigned facilities. The role emphasizes understanding residents' histories, social networks, and aspirations while ensuring safe, clean homes and supportive environments.

The position involves supervising Direct Support Professionals, scheduling coverage, and providing after-hours support.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with people who have developmental disabilities.
• Must be flexible with on-call coverage as needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; NCI/MedTech certification a plus.
• Qualified as Habilitation Technician II or eligible for designation after training.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of Direct Support employees and manages operations, staffing and budget of facilities.
• Interviews and hires Direct Support Professionals.
• Prepares employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
• Performs personal care duties as needed.
• Monitors interactions and relationships between staff and people supported to maintain harmony.
• Ensures training requirements are met and employees attend required events.
• Resolves employee issues and conducts performance reviews.
• Monitors budget items within guidelines.
• Provides after-hours coverage as part of rotation.
• Maintains clean and maintained home and yard for people supported.
