Job summary

Whole Life Vernon, CT is seeking a Full-time Group Home Manager to oversee operations, DDS reporting, and licensing for our group home. The role requires prior hands-on experience running a group home and the ability to lead DSP staff to ensure residents live their best lives in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, staffing, reporting, budgeting, trainings, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Residential/ Program Manager: 1 year
• Working with individuals with disabilities: 2 years
• PMT, Med cert, First Aid/CPR (Required)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive group home cohesiveness and staffing oversight.
• Oversee the group home reporting process (weekly, monthly).
• Coordinate scheduling and interviewing to maintain staffing stability.
• Manage group home managers and ensure up-to-date trend awareness and PCP needs.
• Oversee community activities and engagement with local resources.
• Ensure trainings are efficient and staff feel fulfilled in their roles.
• Oversee payroll and PTO accountability and budgeting-related activities.
• Oversee regional field operations and overall staff accountability.
