Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Group Home Manager to join our Zebulon, NC group home. You will lead a team, coordinate services, and ensure person-centered care for residents.

Responsibilities include supervising direct support staff, managing documentation, and coordinating with families and providers to promote independence and inclusion. A four-year human services degree and supervisory experience are preferred.

Competenze

• Requires a four-year degree in human services with qualifications to be credentialed as a QP in I/DD.
• Two years’ administrative or supervisory experience, or five years’ residential services experience with HS diploma.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Preferred supervisory experience in residential services.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

Mansioni

• Lead daily operations of a residential group home to ensure a safe, supportive environment.
• Coordinate with residents, families, healthcare providers, and partners to support goals.
• Oversee service planning, resident supports, medical coordination, and person-centered services.
• Monitor resident records, assessments, authorizations, medication supports, and documentation.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, onboarding, training, and performance of Direct Support Professionals.
• Coordinate transportation, appointments, employment supports, and community activities.
• Support residents in developing life skills and independent living.
• Maintain household operations, inventory, budgeting, and cost control.
• Document admissions, discharges, service authorizations, and staff training.
