Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Zebulon, NC is seeking a Group Home Manager to join our group home. You’ll manage a team of direct support professionals, maintain care documentation, and handle the administrative side of running the home to support habilitative and rehabilitative activities.

A four-year USDOE/CHEA-accredited degree in human services with QP qualifications or a High School Diploma with 5+ years in residential services are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in human services or equivalent with credentials to be a QP in I/DD.
• Two years of administrative/supervisory experience or five+ years in residential services.
• Ability to establish relationships with residents, families, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of a residential group home in a safety-focused, person-centered environment.
• Oversee individualized service planning, resident supports, and medical coordination.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, onboarding, training, and performance of Direct Support Professionals.
• Coordinate transportation, appointments, and community engagement activities.
• Document admissions, discharges, authorizations, and program requirements.
