Job summary

Absolute Home Care LLC is seeking a House Manager to oversee operations of a 4-bed Adult Family Home. You’ll supervise care staff, coordinate daily activities, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering compassionate resident care.

The role requires flexible shifts, weekend coverage, and travel as needed, with duties including care planning, staff training, and community transport coordination.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver license, and proof of insurance
• At least two years of supervisory healthcare experience.
• TB test within 90 days prior to employment.
• Completion of DHS 88 & 83 training and UW-Green Bay registry certifications.
• Demonstrates good judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with developmental disabilities, mental illness, elderly, or TBI.
• Experience reducing antipsychotic drugs and managing behaviors.
• Strong prioritization and delegation abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to learn new applications.
• Willingness to travel.
• Caring, compassionate, and dependable.
• Must pass criminal and DHS background checks.

Responsibilities

• Policy & procedure implementation.
• Discipline and evaluate staff.
• Provide planned care in a clean, safe home per DHS rules.
• Plan, coordinate, lead daily activities.
• Train team members in behavioral support.
• Communicate with families, physicians, and care sources.
• Assist residents and families with admissions.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Develop and maintain ISP documents and reports.
• Schedule staff for 24/7 service and train caregivers.
• Coordinate training and reviews to ensure standards.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
