Job summary

A Happy Home in Utah is seeking a full-time House Manager to lead day-to-day operations of a group home. You will supervise the staff team, schedule shifts, and ensure the home runs smoothly and in compliance with licensing requirements to provide high-quality care for adults with IDD.

You will oversee monthly menus and activity calendars, coordinate medical appointments, manage budgets for individuals, and serve as the main contact for families, support coordinators, and the pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a group home or similar care setting.
• Experience as caregiver, DSP, CNA, med tech, or similar role.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Organized, dependable, and confident leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support all direct care staff, including the Assistant House Manager and Shift Leads.
• Build and manage the staff schedule, prevent overtime, and ensure every shift is covered.
• Maintain rotating on-call schedule for management staff.
• Lead staff meetings and training, and train new staff.
• Address workplace concerns and maintain professional communication among staff.
