Job summary

CareSpot LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dedicated Group Home Manager to oversee a small team and provide exceptional care for three members with intellectual/developmental disabilities. This is a full-time role with a Monday–Friday, 3 PM–11 PM schedule.

You will manage medication administration, coordinate transportation, supervise and train staff, and ensure accurate documentation and budget adherence while upholding residents' rights, dignity, and self-determination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as a Group Home Manager serving the DDD population.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Female candidate (per program requirements).
• Reliable transportation and AZ driver's license with a clean 36-month driving record.
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card from AZ DPS.
• Certifications: CPR/First Aid, Article 9, and Prevention & Support.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a DDD group home with leadership and caregiving.
• Manage medication administration, documentation, and supplies.
• Maintain clear communication with staff, guardians, DDD coordinators, medical providers, and therapists.
• Ensure accurate daily documentation through progress notes and logs.
• Coordinate transportation for medical, dental, counseling, shopping, and community activities.
• Assist with meals, grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry and maintenance tasks.
• Support personal hygiene and daily living activities as needed.
• Develop and manage staff schedules and delegation of responsibilities.
• Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate staff; foster a professional team.
• Implement positive behavior supports and trauma-informed care.
• Monitor and report members’ health, behavior, and progress; document monthly.
• Maintain home budget and recordkeeping.
• Identify areas for improvement in home operations and implement solutions.
