Job summary

Marrakech, Inc. in Connecticut seeks a hands-on Manager of Group Homes to lead a compassionate team supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

You will hire, train, and mentor staff, implement individualized plans, and coordinate daily living supports while promoting independence, dignity, and person-centered care. This role works with clinical and administrative teams to ensure safe, fulfilling lives for residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or two years related progressive experience and/or training.
• Two years progressive experience with people who have a developmental disability, one year in a supervisory role.
• Education/experience variations will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individualized support and behavior plans are implemented properly.
• Train and guide all new and existing staff.
• Evaluate prospective employees to hire the best people for our individuals.
• Assist staff in providing daily living skills and routines.
• Support medical needs and appointments as needed.
• Encourage community involvement and social engagement.
• Collaborate with a compassionate, supportive team.
