Job summary

Berkshire Family And Individual Resources in North Adams, MA is seeking a House Manager to oversee daily operations of a group home for adults with developmental disabilities. You will train and supervise staff, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and a supportive living environment.

You will provide person-centered supports to help individuals live independently, maintain health, and participate in preferred activities locally. A valid driver’s license and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Min of 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma/GED and minimally 2 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to complete all initial and ongoing background checks including CORI, SORI, Fingerprinting, LEIE, Driving record, E-verify, Physical, PPD and licensing and/or certification checks.
• Valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of a group home for adults with developmental disabilities.
• Train and supervise staff members.
• Ensure the home is safe, clean, and comfortable at all times.
• Provide supports to individuals to help them live as independently as possible, maintain optimal health and engage in activities at home and in the community.
