Job summary

Hacienda HealthCare seeks an experienced Group Home Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring safety and compliance with policies and DD requirements. You will coordinate ISP meetings, communicate with families and coordinators, and supervise staff to maintain quality care.

You will also manage budgets, ensure regulatory adherence, and lead by example in maintaining resident well-being and program integrity. A valid CPR/First Aid certification and clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of management experience in a residential group home.
• Excellent English communication in reading, writing and speaking.
• Ability to cover shifts with flexible hours.
• Must pass Article 9 and Prevention and Support within 90 days of hire.
• Clean driving record for company insurance and driving requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Class 1 Finger Print Clearance Card within 90 days of hire.
• Must be capable of passing a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operating function of the group home to ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Attend ISP meetings and coordinate with families, DDD coordinators and therapists.
• Conduct weekly client file audits for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and standards.
• Report, process, and follow up on incident reports promptly and communicate findings.
• Manage residents' belongings, equipment, and ensure cleanliness and readiness.
• Ensure residents are clean, well-groomed, and appropriately dressed.
• Provide emotional and physical stimulation for residents daily.
• Coordinate staffing schedules and coverage for shifts without excessive overtime.
• Maintain staff documentation daily and supervise new employee training.
• Ensure staff comply with Article 9, Prevention and Support, TB tests, CPR & First Aid, vaccines.
• Support surveys and monitoring by being present during inspections.
• Manage group home budgets, including groceries, client funds, petty cash, and orders.
