Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a results-driven sales professional who can meet targets by directly selling or working through brokers from a diverse portfolio of health insurance products.

The ideal candidate holds a State Insurance License, has experience selling group health insurance, can travel (including overnight stays) within the assigned region, and demonstrates strong presentation, negotiation, and customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• Must have State Insurance License.
• 2 years’ experience selling group health insurance products with a proven track record OR meet goals in a group health sales role and close larger group accounts.
• Knowledge of group managed care (HMO and PPO) processes and trends.
• 3 years in a role with self-direction and decision-making.
• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to present to groups/brokers.
• Experience selling, negotiating and closing sales.
• Detail oriented and customer-service oriented.
• Must be able to travel, including overnight stays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales targets by direct selling or via brokers from a portfolio of health insurance products.
• Travel within the assigned region, including overnight stays, as necessary.
