This five-star luxury wellness community spans 7.5 oceanfront acres and combines Eastern inner-science with Western technology to promote mindful living and unlimited potential. It features two towers, Peace and Happiness, with 182 wellness residences, 153 resort suites, including 30 destination spa suites, chlorine-free pools, a natural bistro with a teaching kitchen, farm-to-table restaurant, meeting and celebration spaces, a full-service salon, outdoor activities, and extensive wellness and spa facilities, including an Aayush hydrothermal circuit, hamam, flotation pod, and panoramic terraces.

Overview

The Group Fitness Instructor ensures high-quality health and fitness services to members and guests. The instructor provides programming suitable for various fitness levels and maintains a safe environment at all times.

Responsibilities

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification(s) for specific formats and/or a nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification.
• At least 2 years of progressive experience in a related field preferred.
• CPR Certified.

Physical requirements:

• Flexible with long hours sometimes required.
• Medium work - exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Ability to instruct various group exercise classes such as Pilates, Stretch, Bootcamp, Circuit Training, HIIT, Cycling, Water Aerobics, Zumba, and Barre.
• Strong listening and understanding skills to address concerns.
• Excellent time management to ensure classes start and end on time.
• Attend all required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain regular attendance and high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
• Comply with hotel standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.
• Proactively identify and solve problems, maintaining confidentiality and showing initiative.
• Perform other duties as assigned, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Hygiene is critical; smoking is not allowed on hands, clothes, or breath during shifts.
