Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking a substitute/as-needed Group Class Instructor to support our fitness team at a client site in Horsham, PA. This flexible role offers hours that vary based on demand and class scheduling.

The position requires a current group exercise certification from a nationally accredited program and CPR/AED First Aid. Two years of instruction experience is preferred, with on-site onboarding experience and timecard systems familiarity valued.

Qualifications

• Must hold current nationally accredited group exercise certification.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification required.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, effective, and safe group exercise classes on-site for members.
• Incorporate formats such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit training.
• Provide coaching and modify workouts for various fitness levels.

This flexible, fill‑in position offers hours that vary based on demand and class scheduling.Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.Minimum RequirementsCurrent group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. The compensation range for this role is $30/hr - $35/hr. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
