Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking a Group Class Instructor to support our community fitness center in Westlake, TX. This substitute role teaches on an as-needed basis, stepping in when regular instructors are unavailable to create a positive, energetic experience for participants.

Responsibilities include providing fun, effective group exercise across formats like dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit, while maintaining safety and engagement for all members.

Qualifications

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

• Lead and substitute as-needed in the community fitness center, ensuring a positive, energetic participant experience.

Love leading group fitness classes and inspiring others to move? HealthFitness is looking for a Group Class Instructor to support our community fitness center in Westlake, TX.

This flexible substitute instructor role offers the opportunity to teach on an as‑needed basis, stepping in when regular instructors are unavailable and helping create a positive, energetic experience for participants.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.

The compensation range for this role is $45 - $50/class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
