Job summary

E Tech Group in the United States is seeking a Group Engineering Manager to lead a growing engineering team and deliver advanced electrical and control system solutions. This role involves working across executive, sales, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery and strong client relationships.

You will mentor engineers, manage budgets, and oversee the design of PLC/SCADA networks while aligning with company goals and core values.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent educational background.
• 8+ years in industrial automation / controls integration industry.
• 3+ years managing and leading a team.
• Knowledge of standard engineering practices and procedures.
• Ability to develop PLC and HMI programs within one or more languages (Schneider Electric, AVEVA, Rockwell, etc.)
• Experience with process controls instrumentation.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.
• A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop a business growth plan with Executive Management, Sales, and Marketing.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical resources to deliver successful projects.
• Design and implement integrated electrical and control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, production, and field service staff.
• Manage project budget and schedule requirements.
• Drive the profit & loss (P&L) of the team on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Specify and configure hardware components (instrumentation, PLCs, networks, panels).
• Design and configure PLC/SCADA networks.
• Generate test procedures and forms.
• Meet with key clients to ensure expectations are met and drive growth.
• Act as an ambassador for Core Values and associate development.
