Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Controls Engineering Manager to guide multiple projects and lead a growing team of engineers. This hands-on role focuses on delivering integrated electrical and control systems while driving growth for the company.

You will design and configure PLC/SCADA networks, mentor staff, manage budgets and schedules, and collaborate with sales and clients to exceed expectations. A BS in engineering, 8+ years in automation, and 3+ years of leadership are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years in industrial automation / controls integration.
• 3+ years managing and leading a team.
• Experience with PLC and HMI programming in one or more languages.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork ethic.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a growing team of engineers and technical resources.
• Design and implementation of integrated electrical and control systems.
• Manage project budgets and schedules; drive profitability of the team.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, production, and field service staff.
• Meet with key clients to ensure expectations are met and growth is pursued.
