Job summary

HealthFitness seeks a Group Class Instructor to lead fun, safe group exercise at our corporate client site in Boston, MA. You will deliver programs such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit to program participants on a per‑week basis or as needed.

Applicants must hold a current group exercise certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT or other NCCA accredited body and have CPR/AED and First Aid certifications within 30 days of hire; 2+ years' experience preferred.

• Certification as group exercise instructor (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM, NCCPT or equivalent).
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.

About the role

HealthFitness is looking for a Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our corporate client site located in Boston, MA. In this position you will provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members participating in the program such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit. This is a position teaching # of classes per week or working on an as-needed basis.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
