Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services is hiring a Groundsperson to support vegetation management crews by performing ground-based work, clearing brush and trees, loading materials, and assisting with storm restoration projects. Must have a valid driver’s license and strong physical endurance.

The role emphasizes safety, proper PPE usage, and the ability to assist with equipment maintenance and site cleanup across assignments and varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in vegetation or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground-based vegetation work, brush and tree clearance as directed.
• Load/unload materials, operate or assist with equipment, and assist with site cleanup.
• Support storm restoration work and travel as needed.
• Enforce safety practices and wear PPE at all times.
• Maintain tools and equipment, and report major repairs.
