Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in White Salmon, WA is seeking a Groundsperson to support the crew by performing ground-based vegetation work, clearing brush and trees, and helping with site cleanup.

The role requires physical strength, balance, ability to work outdoors in all weather, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel for storm restoration as needed. Union-represented position with benefits per labor agreement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drag heavy limbs and use chain saws on uneven terrain.
• Must work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Clear undergrowth from right-of-way using hand tools to cut brush and trees.
• Load/unload trucks with logs and debris; feed brush into brush chipper.
• Set up and break down road signs and flag traffic for safety.
• Drive truck or operate equipment as assigned.
• Perform routine maintenance on trucks and equipment.
