Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a Groundsperson to clear brush and trees, assist with on-site cleanup, and support storm restoration work. The role emphasizes safe practices, physical endurance, and outdoor work experience. A driver’s license is required for driving duties and background checks are part of the hiring process.

Prior landscaping or construction experience is preferred, and you will operate hand tools and gas-powered equipment while maintaining job-site safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must have a Driver’s License if hired for a driving position.
• Experience in landscaping, construction, or outdoor work preferred.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and enforce rules on the job site.
• Clear brush and trees using hand tools and power saws.
• Load/unload materials and set up signs and traffic controls.
• Operate trucks or equipment as assigned and perform basic maintenance.
• Respond to storm work as needed.
