Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a Groundsperson to support crews by performing ground-based vegetation tasks and site cleanup. The role requires physical fitness, the ability to work outdoors in all weather, and a valid driver’s license.

You may travel for storm restoration work and must adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements. Responsibilities include clearing brush, loading materials, and assisting with equipment operation and maintenance on job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• Driver's license required with driving experience.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Able to travel for storm restoration work when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground-based vegetation work and light maintenance.
• Clear brush and trees using hand tools and gas-powered equipment.
• Load/unload materials and assist with site cleanup.
• Assist in setting up road signs and traffic control as directed.
• Follow safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Operate and service basic trucks and equipment.
