Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services is seeking a Groundsperson to support crews by clearing brush and trees from the ground and performing site clean-up. A valid Driver’s License is required and safety gear must be worn at all times.

The role emphasizes physical work, operating basic tools like pruners and saws, and assisting with equipment and vehicle upkeep while following safety rules on diverse job sites and during storm restoration shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be physically strong and able to drag heavy limbs.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Able to follow safety rules and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Work from the ground clearing brush and trees as directed.
• Load and unload trucks with logs, brush and debris.
• Set up and break down road signs and flag traffic.
• Drive truck or operate equipment as assigned.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks and equipment.
• Ensure safety for employees and the public.
