Job description

Pine Crest Estates, a mobile home community located in Chesterfield, MI, is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician. This position performs routine and preventative maintenance, rehab, and landscape work to maintain the physical integrity of the community. Pine Crest Estates is a division of Zeman Homes.

Essential Job Description

• Ensure the community is presentable and inviting.
• Inspect and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to facilities, streets, and vehicles.
• Rehab and maintain used and leased homes.
• Perform lawn care services and maintain flower/shrub beds.
• Clean and maintain community buildings and the maintenance garage; maintain vacant sites.
• Perform plumbing tasks as needed.
• Remove snow from community streets, parking lots, and building entrances.

Requirements

• Previous grounds and maintenance experience.
• Ability to work outdoors in seasonal temperatures.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance.
• Proficiency in operating various hand tools and power equipment.
• Ability to walk, climb, stand, sit, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to provide clear written reports.
• Snow removal experience.
• Availability for responding to community needs outside of regular hours.
• Excellent customer service skills.
