Job Description
Oak Haven, a mobile home community located in Canton, MI, is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician. This position performs routine and preventative maintenance, rehab, and landscape work to maintain the physical integrity of the community. Oak Haven is a division of Zeman Homes.

Essential Job Description

• Ensures the community is presentable and inviting.
• Inspects and completes routine maintenance and minor repairs to facilities, streets, and vehicles.
• Rehabs and maintains used and leased homes.
• Regularly performs lawn care services and services needed to maintain flower/shrub beds.
• Cleans and maintains community buildings and maintenance garage. Maintains vacant sites.
• Performs various plumbing tasks.
• Removes snow from community streets, parking lots, and building entrances.

Requirements

• Previous grounds and maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance.
• Proficient skills in operating various hand tools and power equipment.
• Ability to walk, climb, stand, sit, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to provide legible written reports.
• Prior snow removal experience preferred.
• Availability to respond to community needs during non-business hours.
• Excellent customer service skills.
