Job summary

Greystar is seeking a dedicated maintenance team member for a high-rise community in West Palm Beach. You will help maintain grounds, amenities, and curb appeal while supporting a service-oriented team. This role requires physical work and adherence to safety standards.

The position includes daily rounds, taking on routine service requests, lock changes, hazard reporting, and strong resident communication to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings and ensure common areas and amenities stay neat and clean.
• Removes trash and items from vacant apartments prior to make-ready, transports trash to dumpster or storage area, and cleans storage areas.
• Completes assigned minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager; assists the make-ready specialist in the turn process.
• Changes all locks per property policy and ensures pool area gates operate safely and as required.
• Distributes notices and communications to residents as needed.
• Reports hazards or potentially dangerous situations to supervisors to protect residents, staff and guests.
• Provides courteous customer service by answering resident questions and handling complaints about maintenance services.
• Attends routine safety meetings and trainings on OSHA and related safety requirements and documents incidents promptly.
