Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep the community’s grounds and facilities well-maintained. You will support the service team, inspect common areas, and handle routine tasks such as turnover work, lock changes, and safety compliance.

The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to safety policies, and collaboration with the Community Manager and service staff to maintain high standards of curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and respond to service requests.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the community daily to remove litter and ensure all common areas are clean.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments and prepare units for turnover.
• Complete minor service requests as assigned by supervisor and assist with the turn process.
• Change all locks per policy and ensure pool area gates function safely.
• Distribute notices to residents as needed.
• Report hazards or potentially dangerous situations to supervisors.
• Provide courteous customer service and respond to resident questions about maintenance.
• Attend safety meetings and complete required safety training.
