Avenue5 Residential is hiring a Groundskeeper for Explore The Catania in Houston. The role involves daily exterior maintenance, unit prep, cleaning, and responding to weather-related events to ensure curb appeal and safety.

You’ll interact professionally with current and prospective residents to uphold high standards. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to cope with and defuse difficult situations.
• Must comply with safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and debris daily from office areas and property perimeter.
• Assist in preparation of market ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
• Assist with property emergencies (snow removal, fires, floods).
• Clean available apartments, model homes, and common areas as directed.
• Report maintenance and life-safety issues promptly.
• Promote customer satisfaction and professional interactions with residents.
