Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the grounds, amenities and common areas of the property, ensuring peak curb appeal and customer satisfaction. You will handle exterior cleaning, snow removal, and assist with market-ready units as needed.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license with clean record. Strong customer service, time-management, and a neat professional appearance are essential, along with adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and current auto insurance required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to use general office equipment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must maintain professional appearance and comply with uniform policy.
• Must comply with safety requirements.
• Must complete Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and debris from office areas and property perimeter daily.
• Assist in preparation of market-ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings and sidewalks.
• Assist with property emergencies such as snow removal and other weather events.
• Clean available apartments, model homes and common areas as directed.
• Address maintenance concerns related to weather conditions.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining high cleanliness and curb appeal and interact professionally with residents.
• Report maintenance and life-safety issues immediately.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and other properties.
• Other duties as assigned.
