Fairfield Residential in Houston, TX is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain curb appeal at our Fountains at Tidwell community. You will perform daily property walks, manage cleaning and upkeep, and support resident satisfaction through responsive service.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliable, independent work completing tasks like debris removal, seasonal grounds needs, and equipment care while complying with company policies and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of previous experience as a Groundskeeper or similar function preferred.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• General computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of and ability to use grounds tools and equipment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Property Maintenance Perform daily property walks and maintain curb appeal.
• Remove trash and debris from common areas.
• Assist with seasonal property needs like snow removal and leaf clearance.
• Operations Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ensure proper use and storage of tools and vehicles.
• Customer Service Respond to resident needs promptly and professionally.
• Communicate work status and potential issues to the Service Manager.
• Safety & Compliance Follow OSHA and company safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
